WIOA Low Income

Adult WIOA is for low-income individuals who are seeking assistance for occupational training or employment. Adults is for 18 and older, there is no cut off age for adults. Low income could be but not limited to having SNAP/ TANF benefits, provide paycheck wages. We provide supportive services to our participants such as transportation. The end goal for participants is to find a full time employment in the field of training.

The following workshops are offered at WIOA: Job Readiness and Financial Literacy. Both workshops are fully accessible to both Youth and Adult participants who are interested in participating and learning more information to advance their career.

Job Readiness

held every Thursday morning at 10 am Throughout the workshop we go over the importance of time management, how to build a resume, practice better communication skills and help with interview attire for those who need assistance. Participants have a chance to learn and ask questions on how to navigate the professional world.

Financial Literacy

held every Thursday afternoon at 2pm This workshop is a great opportunity to learn about budgeting basics, understanding credit, saving strategies, debt management and creating a financial goal setting. Participants will be able to gain helpful tips to move forward with short-term and long-term financial planning.

Job Club

held every Wednesday afternoon at 2pm LWe have a team dedicated to assisting with job search support, application guidance, job leads, interview skills and expanding your network! Our main goal is for participants to gain and attract employment opportunities throughout their career.
